Havas at MAD//UpNorth
Boosting equity and making a meaningful difference
Thursday 27th February
On Day 2 of MAD//UpNorth, our keynote demonstrated how our purpose-driven initiatives are creating tangible impacts. Central to this is Havas Boost, a groundbreaking program that uplifts entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds.
With Christina Taylor, the inspiring founder of Aim Sky High Talent, taking centre stage, our session highlighted her journey of transforming barriers into opportunities for women and ethnic minorities in sports and media. By aligning purpose with action, Havas is continuing to champion equity and amplifying diverse voices across the UK.
Aim Sky High Talent Ltd (ASH) is a talent management company representing top-tier talent, models and influencers from diverse backgrounds across the UK.

LAST YEAR’S WINNER
The first iteration of Havas Boost saw Havas Media Network back Ambessa Play, a startup business founded by Sara Berkai, that builds educational STEM kits for children. We invested £150k into the business, which was deployed across a marketing budget, media spend and analytics. We also supported Ambessa Play in creating a campaign to support her kickstarter launch – which was a big success.
The Havas Boost programme enabled Sara Berkai (founder) to pursue her business as a full-time job and provided access to Havas Media Network’s wide range of marketing and creative resources.
